ABSTRACT

This study intends to find out what are the factors that cause the occurrence of Sirri marriage and the implication of Sirri marriage to the harmony of the household for the perpetrators that occurred in Jarakan Hamlet, Badas Village, Badas Sub-District. This study uses a type of descriptive research. This study uses the empirical approach method. Check the validity of the data using participation, observation persistence, and triangulation. The conclusion of this study is that Sirri marriage that occurred in Jarakan Hamlet, Badas Village, Badas Subdistrict was caused by several factors, among others: psychological factors, collisions with positive law, social factors, traditional or customary factors and religion.  positive and negative.  The positive impact of sirri marriage has become easier and the process is not complicated to wait for the divorce proceedings of prospective husbands with their first wives in the Religious Court (PA). While the negative effects of sirri marriage have no formal legal power, so the divorce case of Nasiha has no rights or authority to sue her husband because his marriage was not registered with the government (KUA).
