Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah, author of the book of tafsir Al-Azhar which is his phenomenal work.</em> <em>The purpose of this study is to find out how Hamka's biography started from childhood to successfully create his phenomenal works, especially the book of tafsir Al-Azhar. Surah Luqman merupakan bagian dari Al-Quran yang mengandung petunjuk-petunjuk moral dan hikmah-hikmah yang berharga. Ayat 16 dari surah ini secara khusus menyoroti prinsip balasan amal yang adil dari Allah SWT atas tindakan manusia. Tafsir Al-Jailani memberikan penekanan pada makna mendalam ayat ini, menyoroti bahwa setiap perbuatan manusia akan memiliki akibatnya masing-masing. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi konsep balasan amal dalam Islam, dengan fokus pada pengertian bahwa kebaikan akan dibalas dengan kebaikan, sedangkan kejahatan akan mendapat ganjaran yang setimpal. Perspektif Al-Jailani memberikan pemahaman yang dalam tentang hubungan antara amal perbuatan manusia dengan balasan yang akan diterima di dunia dan akhirat. Analisis dalam artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa pesan moral yang terkandung dalam ayat ini menekankan pentingnya kesadaran akan akibat dari setiap tindakan yang dilakukan manusia, baik dalam hubungannya dengan sesama maupun dengan Sang Pencipta. While the effort in explaining al-Qur’an, the method carried by Ibn Abi Hatim is the method of ijmali, which is interpreting verses of the Qur'an in a concise, concise, and not lengthy language. also used the muqaran method by quoting and comparing the opinions of friends and the tabi’in. The tahlili interpretation method emphasizes in-depth analysis of each word and sentence, while the ijmali interpretation method tends to provide a more general interpretation. The analysis of this interpretation approach is done by detailing the meaning and context of QS. al-Ankabut[29]: 8 using the tahlili interpretation method, then comparing it with the ijmali interpretation method to get a broader perspective. The results show that the tahlili interpretation method can reveal the deeper nuances of the meaning of the verse, while the ijmali interpretation method provides a broader and more general picture. This finding contributes to the development of understanding of interpretive methods, as well as providing new insights related to the interpretation of QS. al-Ankabut[29]: 8 from the perspective of tahlili and ijmali interpretations. One form of interpretation that has developed is isyari interpretation. Isyari interpretation also causes problems between scholars with various views. This study aims to discuss and explore more about the history of the emergence of isyari interpretation and its development from time to time accompanied by the views of scholars at that time. The results of the analysis of this article are expected to have a positive influence, both in theory and practice. Theoretically, this research aims to provide an initial understanding and insight into the history of the emergence of isyari tafsir and its development from time to time accompanied by the views of the scholars at that time. While practically, this research is expected to be used as a basis in addressing the differences of opinion regarding the interpretation interpreted in isyari. The method used in this research is qualitative, using literature review. The main data sources used are books related to the discussion and the supporting sources are journals related to the discussion to help analyze the problem. Data utama diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pedagang dan juru kunci makam, serta observasi langsung, sedangkan data tambahan berasal dari penelitian terdahulu dan literatur terkait lainnya. Sunan Gunung Jati, yang berperan penting dalam penyebaran Islam di Jawa Barat, memiliki makna spiritual, sejarah, dan budaya yang kuat bagi masyarakat Cirebon. Ziarah ke makamnya bukan hanya merupakan praktik keagamaan, tetapi juga cara untuk menghormati kontribusinya dalam pembangunan peradaban Islam. Tradisi ini juga berdampak positif terhadap ekonomi lokal, membantu meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM dan memperkuat identitas budaya setempat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (<em>field research</em>) dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ilmu tafsir, fenomenologi dan sosiologis. Sumber data primer dari masyarakat yang terlibat langsung dalam tradisi, sedangkan sumber data sekunder yaitu berupa buku, jurnal dan artikel. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada hakikatnya bacaan dalam pelaksanaan tradisi <em>kupat qunutan</em> merupakan bacaan yang barsumber dari al-Qur’an yaitu QS al-Fatihah/1: 1-7, QS al-Baqarah/2: 1-5, QS al-Baqarah/2: 255, QS al-Ikhlas}/112: 1-4, QS al-Falaq/113: 1-5, QS al-Nas/114: 1-6 dan kalimat-kalimat zikir yaitu tahlil (<em>la ilaha illa Allah</em>), tahmid (<em>al-H{amdulillah</em>), takbir (<em>Allahu akbar</em>) dan istighfar (<em>astaghfirullah al-Adzim</em>). Tradisi <em>kupat qunutan</em> dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas terlaksanakannya ibadah puasa selama 15 hari pada bulan Ramadan dan menjadi tempat sedekah serta saling memaafkan untuk memperkuat tali persaudaraan sehingga mendapat keberkahan dalam menjalankan ibadah puasa pada 15 hari berikutnya. Pelaku tradisi <em>kupat qunutan</em> memahami bacaan surah al fatihah sebagai surah yang dapat mempercepat terkabulnya do’a, serta surah al-Baqarah ayat 1-5 dipahami sebagai surah yang akan mendatangkan keberkahan, surah al-Baqarah ayat 255 dipahami sebagai ayat yang agung, surah al-Ikhlas dipahami sebagai simbol ketauhidan, surah al-Falaq dan al-Na&gt;s dipahami sebagai tabir perlindungan, kalimat istighfar sebagai permohonan ampun, kalimat tahlil dipahami untuk memperbarui keimanan serta kalimat tasbih, tahmid dan takbir dipahami sebagai kalimat yang mampu menghadirkan ketenangan hati sehingga bacaan tersebut menjadi pilihan dalam proses tradisi tersebut.</p> 2024-06-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) Juni 2024 AR ROSYAD: Jurnal Keislaman dan Sosial Humaniora
